Solana Black Hole — reclaim SOL rent and burn dust
Recover rent from dust, swap what still has value, and keep protected assets untouched. Black Hole reviews Solana token accounts and NFTs before suggesting a cleanup path.
Nothing moves automatically. Connect a wallet, review the proposed plan, and approve each cleanup transaction yourself. Identity Prism and other high-signal assets are excluded from automatic cleanup candidates.
What Black Hole does
Every token you have ever received on Solana lives in its own token account, and each account holds a small rent deposit in SOL — about 0.002 SOL for a standard token account. Airdropped spam, worthless memecoins and forgotten NFTs keep that deposit locked. Black Hole finds those accounts and helps you close them so the rent returns to your wallet.
How the cleanup works
- Scan — Black Hole reads your SPL Token and Token-2022 accounts and NFTs, then checks token prices, NFT floor prices and marketplace listings.
- Sort — each asset is marked protected, valuable or a cleanup candidate. Seeker, Saga and Chapter 2 ecosystem assets, Identity Prism cards, known blue-chip collections, NFTs with a meaningful floor price or an active listing, and frozen accounts are protected.
- Plan — for fungible dust, Black Hole compares a live swap quote with burning; when a swap returns more SOL, the token is routed to SOL first. Empty accounts are simply closed.
- Sign — you review the plan and approve each transaction in your own wallet. Nothing moves until you sign.
What you get back and what it costs
Closing an account returns its rent deposit to your wallet, minus the network fee and a salvage fee on the reclaimed rent. The standard salvage fee is 10%; wallets holding an Identity Prism passport pay 2%. The exact fee is shown in the app before you sign.
Swapped dust also returns the SOL value of the swap. Burning a token or NFT is permanent, so Black Hole asks for an extra confirmation before it burns anything it considers potentially valuable.
Safety and custody
Black Hole is non-custodial. It never receives your private key or seed phrase and cannot sign on your behalf. You can open a read-only scan of an address to preview the plan; assets can only move after the matching wallet connects and approves the transactions.
Price and floor data can be incomplete, especially for new or illiquid tokens. Assets with missing data are held back for manual review instead of being treated as dust, so always check the list before you sign.
Black Hole FAQ
How much SOL can I reclaim?
Roughly 0.002 SOL for each standard token account you close, minus fees. The total depends on how many empty or dust accounts your wallet has; Black Hole shows the estimate before you sign.
Will Black Hole burn my valuable tokens or NFTs?
Protected and valuable assets are excluded from cleanup candidates. You choose what to include, and burning a shielded NFT requires an explicit extra confirmation.
What is the difference between closing and burning?
Closing removes an account that already has a zero balance. Burning destroys the remaining tokens first so the account can be closed. Both return the rent deposit; burning is irreversible.
Which wallets are supported?
Phantom, Solflare and Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter, including Seed Vault on Solana Seeker. Black Hole also runs inside the Identity Prism Android app.
Why is there a fee?
The salvage fee is taken from the reclaimed rent and funds the service. Identity Prism passport holders pay the reduced 2% rate instead of the standard 10%.
